It was the beginning of 2020 when I started my conscious relationship journey. I had been in a couple of long term relationships. However, after leaving my 4 year relationship, I came to realize that they was so much more to healthy relationships than everything just being ‘comfortable’

Though I started on this journey of dating, I still kept calling in men who were:

Not committed
Not fully honest
Said one thing, but then did another

I even got to the point where I thought I found ‘the one’ but a year into the relationship I found out I was the other woman.

^ that one fucked me up.

I felt like there was something wrong with me.

Like, why the fuck was love so easy for everyone else but seemed impossible for me?

I found myself in a spiral of comparison to the beautiful couples on social media, self doubt about my own ability to create the love story I wanted and shame for all of my failed attempts at love that ended in heartbreak.

After years of working on manifesting my dream relationship, getting clear on my perfect partner and yet STILL going through another heartbreak that shattered me… I realized there was something more.

I was DONE comparing myself, settling for less than what I desired and continuing the story of pain.

I never had role models for the “happily ever after story” as a kid, at least not off the TV screen. My mom and dad got divorced after my dad went to jail when I was 13.

And after this happened, the men I was dating were drug dealers, men who were dishonest, liars, cheaters, emotionally abusive - I even had a fiancé that went to prison. Just like my father did.

I didn’t have a blueprint for a ‘conscious healthy relationship’

And I kept repeating the same patterns with partners. It didn’t seem to matter how many times I had utter heartbreak that ended a relationship, only to think that I had healed, and ended up in a relationship where the same conversations and pain seemed to be repeating.

It was like I was dating the same person with a different face.

Until one day I recognized...

“Wow, I’ve spent my whole life falling in love with people’s potential and hoping I’d be enough for them to finally change.”

Then the REAL work started to take place…

It’s been a couple years of learning what’s actually requires to break these patterns - patterns that were generations in the making - and create the actual love story my heart used to yearn for.
