You're already uncomfortable

How often do you hold yourself back from doing something because you’re worried about what the outcome may be?

You tell yourself these stories in your head "it's probably going to go like this, this will happen, I'll end up here and then everything will fall apart" "Why even try?"

We all have this little devil that sits on our shoulder and tells us “you’re not good enough/ smart enough/ pretty enough/ good enough” to do that thing you’ve been dreaming of doing... A lot of the time, unfortunately we may end up listening to it. The small side of us that wants us to stay small and play small. To stay in safety, security and familiarity.

In this place of “comfort”... But actually, you’re uncomfortable being "comfortable". Because you know you’re made for more, that there are things you want to do, and dream of doing…

But what’s stopping you?

It’s your inner critic, your bully brain.
Your brain is wired to tell you to “stay safe, stay in the cave, we’re ok here - I know this and I want to stay here”

So now when you start stepping out of your comfort zone, your body freaks out and reacts to all the uncertainty and unfamiliarity.. Your brain goes crazy telling you that you’re crazy for trying something new and you’re going to fail at it.

It’s actually a good thing. It means you’re growing.

You're already uncomfortable being "comfortable" -- why not step a little further out of the box and see what you're really capable of?

Keep going, keep moving forward, stepping outside of the box of comfort and pretty soon you will find yourself saying “wow, I can’t believe I did all of THAT”

And you’ll be so proud of who you are, and who you’re becoming.

You just need to take one step

When you're ready, take a step and let's talk
